Netherton Farm & The Local Area

Our offered breakfast includes our own free range eggs and, whenever available, Netherton Farm sausages and bacon. Netherton Farm prides itself in rearing a happy herd of Tamworth cross Wild Boar pigs which root around in the wood when not required to dig the veggie garden.

From time to time we have weaners for sale (for rearing or spit-roasting), whole or half carcasses (£5 kilo, or £6 kilo butchered and freezer-ready), plus excellent sausages made by a local butcher. Please contact us for details and availability.

Organically-grown vegetables are grown all year round in the Community Garden.

Local Restaurants

Listed here is a selection of places on the Black Isle or nearby which we can recommend for main meals, with links to their websites. Distances depend on route taken. See also this TripAdvisor list for reviews of many Ross & Cromarty restaurants.

The Culbokie Inn is the closest eatery, within 10 minutes walk of Netherton. Booking is recommended at weekends and during the summer - call 01349 877280. The Culbokie Inn re-opened in April 2015 under new management by a local farmer, using and producing local food. Currently it is closed for food and drink on Mondays and Tuesdays (we recommend you call to check this).
